HOYUANG INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD. and its subsidiaries and affiliated companies (collectively, “With Yu”, also referred to as “W/YU”, “we”, or “us”) provide subscription box tea services, including the sale of our Tea Platter Box. This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect about you when you use our websites, mobile applications, and other online products and services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, our “Services”), shop in our stores, visit our pop-up shops or retail counters (if applicable), contact our customer service team, engage with us on social media, or otherwise interact with us.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you; such information is used only for analytics, research, or service improvement.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the date at the top of the policy and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as a statement on our homepage or via email notification). We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy regularly to stay informed about our information practices and your choices.

COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
Information You Provide to Us
We collect information you provide directly to us. For example, you share information directly with us when you create an account, fill out a form, submit or post content through our Services, make a purchase, communicate with us via third-party platforms, participate in a contest or promotion, request customer support, or otherwise communicate with us. The types of personal information we may collect include your name, email address, postal address, phone number, credit card and other payment information, and any other information you choose to provide.
Other Information We Collect When You Interact with Us
When you access or use our Services or otherwise transact business with us, we automatically collect information about your activities, including:
• Activity Information: We collect information about your activity on our Services, such as your tea preferences, your tea-drinking behaviour/frequency, and past order history.
• Transactional Information: When you make a purchase or return, we collect information about the transaction, such as product details, purchase price, and date and location of the transaction.
• Device and Usage Information: We collect information about how you access our Services, including data about the device and network you use, such as your hardware model, operating system version, mobile network, IP address, unique device identifiers, browser type, and app version. We also collect information about your activity on our Services, such as access times, pages viewed, links clicked, and the page you visited before navigating to our Services.
• Location Information: In accordance with your device permissions, we may also collect information about the precise location of your device. Technologies
We (and our service providers) use tracking technologies, such as cookies and web beacons, to collect information about you. Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive or in device memory that help us improve our Services and your experience, see which areas and features of our Services are popular, and count visits. Web beacons (also known as “pixel tags” or “clear GIFs”) are electronic images that may be used in our Services or emails and help deliver cookies, count visits, and understand usage and campaign effectiveness. Information We Collect from Other Sources
We may also obtain information about you from other sources. For example, we may collect information about you from identity verification services, credit bureaus, advertising networks, data analytics providers, mailing list providers, social networks (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.), and other third-party sources. Additionally, if you create or log into your W/YU account through a third-party platform or social network, we will have access to certain information from that site, such as your full name, username, birthday, friends/connections list, and profile picture, in accordance with the authorization procedures determined by such third-party platform.
Information We Derive
We may derive information or draw inferences about you based on the information we or our partners collect. For example, we may make inferences about your location based on your IP address or infer that you are looking to purchase certain products based on your browsing behavior and past purchases.
USE OF INFORMATION
We use the information we collect to deliver the products and services you request and customize your experience with us. We also use the information we collect to:
• Provide, maintain and improve our products and services;
• Process transactions and send you related information, including confirmations, receipts, invoices, customers experience surveys, and recall notices;
• Send you technical notices, security alerts, and support and administrative messages and to respond to your comments, questions, and to provide you customer service;
• Communicate with you about products, services, and events offered by With Yu and others, and provide news and information we think will interest you (see Your Choices below for information about how to opt out of these communications at any time);
• Provide and administer our loyalty program;
• Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our Services;
• Tailor your experience on our Services;
• Personalize the advertisements you see when you use our Services based on information provided by our advertising partners;
• Facilitate contests, sweepstakes, and promotions and process and deliver entries and rewards;
• Detect, investigate and prevent security incidents and other malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, and protect the rights and property of With Yu and others;
• Debug to identify and repair errors in our Services;
• Comply with our legal and financial obligations; and
• Carry out any other purpose described to you at the time the information was collected.
SHARING OF INFORMATION
We share personal information in the following circumstances, or as otherwise described in this policy:
• With vendors, service providers, and consultants who need access to personal information in order to perform services for us, such as companies assisting with web hosting and fulfillment (e.g., Shopify), shipping and delivery, payment processing (e.g., Shopify, Stripe, Paypal), fraud prevention, customer service, and marketing and advertising (e.g., Mailchimp).
• Publicly on our Services if you submit a product review or post content in another public area of our Services.
• If we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, any applicable law or legal process, including lawful requests by public authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
• If we believe your actions are inconsistent with our user agreements or policies, if we believe you have violated the law, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of With Yu, our users, the public, or others.
• With our lawyers and other professional advisors as necessary to obtain advice or otherwise protect and manage our business interests.
• In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company.
• Between and among With Yu and our current and future parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and other companies under common control and ownership.
• With your consent or at your direction.
ADVERTISING AND ANALYTICS
We work with third parties to provide analytics services and display advertisements for us across the web and within mobile apps. These partners may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers, and similar technologies to collect information about your use of our Services and other websites or apps. This information may include your IP address, web browser, mobile network information, pages you visit, time spent on pages or apps, links clicked, and conversion data. We may use this information, alone or together with other data, to help With Yu and our partners analyze trends, track user engagement, deliver advertising and content targeted to your interests, and better understand your online activity.
You can learn more about interest-based advertising, or opt out of having your browsing information used for behavioral advertising purposes, by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices. Your device may also offer privacy settings, such as “Limit Ad Tracking” on iOS or “Opt Out of Interest-Based Ads”/“Opt Out of Ads Personalization” on Android, to control targeted ads through mobile apps. Please note that opting out of interest-based ads does not mean you will no longer see ads—they just may be less relevant to your interests.
We also work with third parties, such as Facebook and Instagram, to show you customized ads as part of targeted campaigns on those platforms. As part of these campaigns, we or these platforms may use information about you (such as a hashed version of your email address or phone number) to match with your account and serve you relevant ads. Please note that these third-party platforms may have their own privacy settings that allow you to control whether you see these types of customized ads. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party networks, so we recommend reviewing their privacy policies for more information.
TRANSFER OF INFORMATION INTERNATIONALLY
With Yu is headquartered in Taiwan and may engage with service providers located in other countries. As such, your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, or accessed from jurisdictions outside of Taiwan, which may have different data protection laws. We will take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is handled securely and in accordance with applicable data protection regulations, and will strive to provide a level of protection comparable to that required under the laws of Taiwan.
YOUR CHOICES
Account Information
You may update and correct certain account information you provide to us at any time by logging into your account or emailing us at customer@withyu.com.tw. If you wish to permanently delete your account, you may do so through your account settings or by contacting us at customer@withyu.com.tw. Following deletion, your personal information will be removed from our active systems. However, we may retain certain information for up to six (6) months as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention or record-keeping), after which it will be securely deleted. We may also retain cached or archived copies of information about you for a limited period.
Location Information
When you first launch any of our mobile apps that collect precise location information, you will be asked to consent to the app’s collection of this information. If you initially consent to our collection of this location information, you can subsequently stop the collection of this information at any time by changing the preferences on your mobile device. If you do so, some of our Services may no longer function properly. You may also stop our collection of this location information by following the standard uninstall process to remove all of our mobile apps from your device.
Cookies
Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually choose to set your browser to remove or reject browser cookies. Please note that removing or rejecting cookies could affect the availability and functionality of some of our Services. Promotional Communications
You may opt out of receiving promotional emails or text messages from With Yu by following the instructions in those communications, by managing your communication preferences in your account settings menu, or by emailing customer@withyu.com.tw with the subject line “Opt-Out” and requesting to opt out of promotional communications. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations.
